Benefits of Pool Liner Replacement Services
Your swimming pool is a major investment that brings joy, relaxation, and fun to your family. That’s why taking care of it, particularly the liner, is crucial.
By opting for our professional pool liner replacement service, you’ll experience a myriad of benefits:
Extended Pool Lifespan
A well-maintained pool liner is essential to ensure the longevity of your pool. It protects the pool structure from potential damage and prevents leaks that can lead to costly repairs. With our high-quality liners, your pool will stand the test of time.
Enhanced Look and Feel
A new pool liner can transform the entire aesthetics of your pool. With a range of designs and colors to choose from, you can personalize your pool to reflect your style. The smoothness of a new liner also improves the swimming experience, making each dip more enjoyable.
Improved Water Clarity
A new pool liner won’t have the same staining or fading as an old one, which can help your pool water appear crystal clear and inviting.
Health and Safety
Old and torn liners can become a safety hazard causing injuries or bacterial growth. Replacing the liner can help ensure a safer, cleaner environment for your family to swim in.
Three Reasons Why You Should Replace Your Pool Liner
Before deciding to replace your pool liner, it’s crucial to understand why you’re doing it. At Romanelli & Son Pool Service, we believe in providing necessary services that add real value to your pool and your experience.
This is why we always verify the need for a liner replacement before proceeding. Here are three valid reasons to consider this service:
Persistent Leaking
If your pool has been consistently leaking even after multiple leak detection attempts and repairs, it may be time to consider replacing the liner. Persistent leaks can lead to more serious issues, including damage to the pool structure and surrounding areas.
Age of the Liner
Generally, if your liner is over 10 years old, it may be nearing the end of its lifespan. The harsh exposure to sunlight, chemicals, and wear-and-tear can weaken the liner over time. A replacement can prevent future problems and maintain the integrity of your pool.
Aesthetics and Condition of the Liner
If your liner is faded, has larger rips or tears, or is in bad shape, it might be hurting the aesthetics of your pool. A new liner can instantly transform your pool, making it more inviting and enjoyable.
However, it’s important to remember that liner replacement is a significant investment. It should only be considered when absolutely necessary.
Our team will help you evaluate your pool’s situation and provide honest advice on whether liner replacement is the right solution for you.
Trust us to prioritize your best interests and ensure your pool remains a source of joy and relaxation for years to come.

Initial Estimate, Scheduling and Measurement
Based on your pool’s size and features, we will send an initial cost estimate.
Upon acceptance of the initial quote, we schedule a time to remove the pool cover (if applicable) and take detailed measurements. This step could take 3-7 days.
Depending on your pool’s features, it may need to be partially or completely drained before measurements are taken.

This quote will also cover wall padding, all new gaskets and faceplates, liner installation labor, fiberglass rods (for vinyl over steps), step gasket for fiberglass steps, and if needed, pool opening with water chemistry balancing after a fresh water fill.
Liner Ordering and Job Scheduling
Upon acceptance of the final quote, we’ll order the selected liner. Please note that the manufacturing may take 10-15 days.
As soon as the liner arrives, we’ll coordinate with you to schedule the installation.
Please note that the pool will need to be drained before the installation process is started.
Professional Installation
Our experienced technicians will install your new liner with precision, ensuring a smooth, wrinkle-free finish. We pride ourselves on our comprehensive and transparent approach to pool liner replacement.
Our Pool Liner Replacement Process:
Installation Day 1
The installation process starts with us draining your pool completely.
Once the old liner is removed, we carefully install the wall padding to protect your new liner and prolong its life.
After this, we install the new liner, ensuring precise fitment and a smooth finish.
We end the day by filling the pool with 1-2 inches of water in the shallow end to set the liner in place and eliminate any potential wrinkles.
Installation Day 2
On the second day of the installation process, our expert team carefully cuts and fits the liner to accommodate the light, returns, and skimmers in your pool.
We also replace the gaskets and faceplates to ensure a watertight seal and maintain the aesthetic appeal of your pool.
Following these steps, we proceed with filling the pool.
This is done gradually to allow the liner to adjust and fit perfectly to the shape of your pool.
Installation Day 3
On the third and final day, we focus on setting up the filter system, if necessary.
This step is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and chemical balance of your pool water.
Once the pool is filled, we take special care to balance the water chemistry. This is done by testing and adjusting the pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer levels of your newly filled pool to ensure it is safe and ready for you to enjoy. If the pool hasn’t been open yet, we’ll re-install the filter system too!
At Romanelli & Son Pool Service, we leave no stone unturned in providing you with a service that ensures the health and longevity of your pool.
Trust us for a worry-free and satisfying pool liner replacement experience.
