Selecting the Pool Maintenance Plan That’s Right for You

Weekly Pool Maintenance Plan

This plan is ideal for those that have already purchased chemicals for their pool or are familiar with the chemicals needed to maintain water balance and proper water chemistry.

Customers enrolled in our Weekly plan can either purchase chemicals on their own or purchase them from us a la carte – and we will add them to the pool for you.

We will still test the water chemistry, so you will know what’s needed – and of course, we will do everything else you’d expect in our maintenance service, such as vacuuming, brushing, etc.

An electronically signed service agreement and payment method on file is necessary to enroll in this plan.

Premier Pool Maintenance Plan

This plan is for those looking to have it all.

Customers will enjoy the full benefits of owning a pool without worrying about keeping it clear and safe to swim in – that’s for us to take care of.

On top of priority scheduling, customers on our Premier plan will also enjoy receiving a 10% discount on service call labor fees if any repairs need to be made.

An electronically signed service agreement and payment method on file is necessary to enroll in this plan.

Flex Pool Maintenance Plan

Choose how often you want your pool cleaned with our Flex plan.

This plan is great for customers who want to mainly take care of the pool themselves – but still want our assistance from time to time when things get messy.

No service agreement needs to be signed for this plan, and cancellation can occur anytime you’d like without any termination fees (as long as we have 24-hour notice before our scheduled visit).

We Know the Art and Science of Pool Maintenance

Maintaining balanced water chemistry is crucial to getting the most efficient use out of the chlorine you buy, resulting in savings on costly chemicals and unnecessary labor.

Being proactive is your best defense against algae and other conditions that can lead to an under-utilized pool, headaches, and frustration. Continually monitoring your alkalinity, calcium hardness, pH, and cyanuric acid levels will also help prevent your vinyl liner from fading or cracking and prevent corrosion of your filter, pump, or heater.

Our technicians are keen on employing preventative measures to ensure that you won’t miss a day of fun in the sun with your pool! Call Us Now: 631-546-0509

Is It Hard to Maintain a Pool Yourself?

Don’t let the thought of maintaining your own pool stress you out. With the right gear, know-how, and expertise, you’re looking at around a 1-2 hour weekly commitment.

But before you go DIY, just remember, it’s not as simple as it seems and there are some potential dangers to watch out for.

In our opinion, it’s better to kick back and relax all season long while leaving the cleaning to the pros.

Your Pool Filtration System Can be Complicated

Pool maintenance can be a bit of a juggling act, with different systems like circulation, filtration, and chemical treatment all in play. Each of these systems plays a vital role in keeping your pool clean and safe to swim in.

If you’re not a pro, it can be tough to know if everything is running smoothly. It requires knowledge of the proper chemical levels, how to clean and maintain the equipment, and how to diagnose and fix potential problems.

You Can Make Dangerous and Costly Mistakes

One small mistake can have big consequences, like cloudy water, algae growth, or even damage to the equipment. And if you’re not careful, it can also be a safety hazard.

Chemicals are a necessary evil when it comes to pool maintenance. If you don’t handle them correctly, you could end up with burns or injuries. And even if you’re lucky enough to avoid that, improper procedures could lead to serious damage to your pool or equipment.

You Can Waste Money

DIY pool maintenance can save you some cash, like $70-$100 a week. But keep in mind it’s not going to be a breeze, and mistakes can be costly.

Not only you could end up with a pool that’s not as clean as you want, but also you could damage the pool equipment or even worst, harm yourself.

Hiring expert technicians can guarantee that the job will be completed correctly from the outset. They have the experience, knowledge, and equipment to keep your pool sparkling clean, safe, and healthy for you and your family to enjoy all summer long.

Plus, you’ll have more time to relax and enjoy your pool instead of stressing about maintaining it. So, if you want to avoid any mishaps, it’s best to let the pros handle it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should you get your pool cleaned?

It really depends on a few factors such as how often the pool is used, the weather, and the area surrounding the pool.

We recommend that your pool be cleaned at least once a week, but it may require more if it’s been very windy or you’ve had a pool party recently.

Is it worth it to clean your own pool?

You need to ask yourself if you have the time and energy to commit to cleaning the pool at least once a week.

If you enjoy the process and have the time, go for it. Otherwise, we’d suggest hiring a pool cleaning service such as ours to help you keep your pool sparkling clean all season long.

What happens if you don’t clean your pool?

If you neglect your pool maintenance, you’ll be in for a world of trouble. Algae and bacteria will start to thrive, the water will become cloudy and uninviting, and your equipment will start to malfunction. Not to mention, it can be a safety hazard.

In short, not cleaning and maintaining your pool is a recipe for disaster.

Should you backwash a pool every week?

Backwashing your pool every week may not be necessary.

It depends on the usage, the environment, and the filtration system. A general rule of thumb is to backwash when the pressure gauge is 8-10 PSI above the normal starting pressure.

However, it’s always good to consult with a professional pool technician to determine the best schedule for your pool.

Is it OK to swim in a pool without chlorine?

Swimming in a pool without chlorine is definitely not a good idea. Chlorine is a disinfectant that kills harmful microorganisms and bacteria in the water, making it safe for swimming.

Without it, you’re essentially swimming in a petri dish of germs and bacteria. So, it’s best to stick with a properly chlorinated pool.

How does the AutoPay discount work?

Simply submit your payment information and allow us to automatically charge your payment method on file.

Put your pool service payment on autopilot – there’s no easier way to save $20-25 per month!

What do you mean by priority scheduling?

As a Weekly or Premier plan member, you will always be at the top of the list when we are scheduling service calls for pool troubleshooting, equipment upgrades, or pool repairs..

If you need a service call, we will be sure to get you on the schedule as soon as possible so we can have your pool fixed up and ready to go fast.

Which chemicals are included in the Premier plan?

We will add as many pool-balancing chemicals as necessary. This means shock, chlorine tablets, sodium bicarbonate, calcium chloride, muriatic acid, and salt (up to 80 lbs. per visit).

Specialty chemicals that are not included are algaecide, mineral or phosphate remover, water clarifier, and stabilizer (cyanuric acid).

What type of service fees receive a 10% discount with the Premier plan?

We call it Premier for a reason! The following all receive a 10% discount:

  • Labor fees for repairs
  • Labor fees for equipment upgrades
  • Labor fees for troubleshooting

How does the cancellation option work for the Flex plan?

You will not receive the $39 cancellation fee if you give us notice at least 24 hours before your appointment.

Also, since no service agreement has been signed, you can discontinue your plan at any time without receiving an early termination penalty.

What type of scheduling flexibility do I have with the Flex plan?

You can set up the frequency of your visits to be whatever you’d like – every two weeks, three weeks, monthly…it’s entirely in your hands.

Also, since no service agreement has been signed, you can discontinue your plan at any time without receiving a fee.
