Free Install on a Crystal Water Monitor, Plus 3 Months of 24/7 Monitoring On Us

A new way for Romanelli & Son to catch trouble in your water before you ever do, now open to a small group of our Premier customers.

Crystal Water Monitor installed inline at a pool equipment pad

The Crystal Water Monitor, installed inline at your equipment pad.

It’s the Saturday of a long weekend. The yard is full, the grill is going, and somebody’s kid is the first one to notice it.

The water’s cloudy. By Sunday it has a tint to it. By the time you call us, it isn’t a quick fix anymore. It’s a shock treatment, a few extra service stops, and a long stretch of bags under the eyes wondering when your own backyard turned on you.

Here’s the part nobody tells you: that pool didn’t go bad on Saturday. It started days earlier, quietly, while the water still looked perfect.

So what actually happens to your water between our visits? It moves. Heat, rain, a heavy weekend of swimmers, a little extra sun, and your pH and sanitizer start to drift. For five or six days, nobody is watching. By the time the change is something you can see, it’s already something you have to pay to fix.

That’s the real cost of a pool. Not the green you can see. The days you couldn’t.

What if you knew the moment it started?

Not Saturday, when it’s a crisis. Tuesday, when it’s still nothing. That’s the whole idea behind what we’re rolling out, and why we wanted our Premier customers to hear about it first.

It’s called the Crystal Water Monitor. We install it inline at your equipment pad, out of sight, no new gadget for you to babysit. From the second it’s running, it checks your pH, your sanitizer, and your water temperature every ten minutes. Over a thousand readings a week. And every one of them comes straight to us.

So your water stops being a once-a-week guess and becomes something your Romanelli team watches all week long.

What does that actually buy you?

It buys you the catch. The afternoon your chemistry starts to slide, we see it and correct it, often before you’d ever have a clue anything was off. The problem dies on Tuesday instead of ruining your Saturday.

And what does the catch buy you? A pool that’s just there. Clear, ready, the same every time you walk out back. No green surprise the weekend the in-laws come over. No scramble to get it swimmable before the party you already invited people to.

What does that buy you? The thing you actually wanted when you put a pool in. You stop thinking about it. You fly to the beach for a week and you don’t wonder, not once, what you’re going to come home to, because somebody is watching the whole time you’re gone.

There’s a quieter win underneath all of it, too. When water gets caught early, it gets fixed with a little. When it gets caught late, it gets fixed with a lot: more chemicals, more trips, more money, all to dig out of a hole that a Tuesday adjustment would have prevented. Catching it early isn’t just cleaner. It’s cheaper, month after month.

Why we can offer this, and most can’t

Romanelli & Son is the exclusive installer for the Crystal Water Monitor across Long Island. The unit carries a lifetime warranty, and it’s watched by the same team that’s been keeping Long Island pools clear since 1999. This isn’t an app you download and a problem you now own. It’s your pool, on our radar, handled.

The first 12 spots go first

We’re opening this to a small group of Premier customers before anyone else, and we’re making it easy to say yes:

  • Free professional installation. We handle the whole thing at your pad.
  • The monitor is yours. You own the unit.
  • Three months of monitoring, free. After that it’s $39 a month to keep your team watching around the clock.

We’re taking the first 12 pads, and this pricing closes July 31. After that, installation and monitoring go to standard rates.

If you’ve ever walked outside to a pool that turned on you, or spent a vacation half-wondering about the one back home, this is the fix. Put your water on autopilot and let us catch the problems before you ever see them.

Common questions

How does remote water monitoring work?
We install the Crystal Water Monitor inline at your equipment pad. It reads your pH, sanitizer, and temperature about every ten minutes and sends every reading straight to our team. Instead of seeing your water once a week on your service day, we watch the trend all week long.
What happens when you find a problem with my pool?
We catch the change as it starts, usually long before you would notice anything. If it is something we can handle on your next scheduled visit, we take care of it then. If it cannot wait, we reach out and get a tech to you to correct it before it turns into a green pool or a bigger repair.
How will I get notified about a water chemistry issue?
You do not have to watch anything, that is our job. When the monitor flags a change in your water, our team sees it and acts. If it needs your attention or a visit, we reach out by text or call. You can also check your own water readings any time through your shared monitor view.
Do I have to do anything?
No. The monitor runs on its own, with batteries that last up to two years, and your Romanelli team does the watching. You just enjoy the pool.
Will it work with my pool?
It works with chlorine and saltwater pools, and we confirm the right unit for your setup before we install. The monitor also carries a lifetime warranty.
What does it cost?
For this early-access group: free professional installation, the monitor is yours to keep, and three months of monitoring free. After that, monitoring is $39 a month to keep your team watching around the clock.
What happens with billing once the pool season ends?
When we close your pool for the season, your monitoring and the $39 monthly charge pause. With the pool closed there is nothing flowing through the system to read, so you do not pay for it. Billing picks back up when we open the pool in spring.
Can I pause it while the pool is closed?
Yes, and it is automatic. When we close the pool, monitoring pauses with it and the monthly charge stops until we open it again in spring. Nothing for you to manage.
